My case details look wrong or outdated

Refresh from court and understand why some lookups don't change status.

If a case shows information that looks wrong or out of date, here's how to get it right.

Refresh from court

Open the case and select Refresh from Court to pull the latest record right away. If the court record has newer information, the case updates.

Check the timestamps

Look at Checked from court and Last updated from court. If "checked" is recent but "updated" is older, the case is current — there simply hasn't been new activity. See "Last checked" vs "Last updated".

Common explanations

  • Manually-added case — not refreshed automatically; update it yourself or re-add by searching court records.

  • Disposed case — no longer refreshed; refresh once to re-check if you think it's still active.

  • Court record temporarily unavailable — try again shortly; Gaveli keeps retrying in the background.

If a detail is still clearly incorrect after refreshing, contact support with the case details.
