Managing your clients list

Maintain the parties your firm represents — banks, companies, and individuals.

Written by Jason

Your clients list holds the parties your firm represents — banks, companies, and individuals. Maintaining it makes adding cases and raising invoices quicker and more consistent.

Where to manage clients

Go to Settings → Configuration and open the Clients section. You can also create a client on the fly while filling in a case.

Add and edit clients

  1. Enter the client's name and add one (for example, "State Bank of India").

  2. Open a client to edit details like type, email, phone, and notes.

Archiving

If you no longer work with a client, archive them to keep your active list tidy. You can restore an archived client later.

Deleting a client

If a client was added by mistake, an owner or admin can remove it permanently. Open Settings → Configuration → Clients, open the client, and choose Delete. You'll be asked to confirm first, because this can't be undone.

A client that's linked to one or more cases can't be deleted — this keeps those cases intact. Archive the client instead to hide it from your active list.
