High Court Cause List shows the live courtroom board for a High Court — which benches are sitting, what is being heard right now, and where your own matters fall on the day's list. It updates through court hours, so you can follow the day as it moves instead of refreshing a static list.
Opening it
Open High Court Cause List from the navigation, then pick a High Court and bench. The picker shows every High Court that is currently supported — the list is growing and today includes High Courts such as Karnataka, Delhi and Patna, with more being added.
Live Board
The Live Board tab lists each court hall and the case being heard right now. A status shows how each hall is doing at a glance:
In Session — the hall is sitting and hearing matters.
Passed Over — a matter was reached but stood down; you can expand Passed Over to see which cases.
Not Sitting / No Session — the hall isn't sitting today.
Unknown — status isn't available yet.
The board refreshes automatically through court hours. Outside sitting hours it pauses and shows the last available view — it will start moving again when the court is next in session.
Advocate Search
The Advocate Search tab lets you find every matter listed for an advocate on a given day. Enter the Advocate name, choose the Date, and search. Each result shows the case, parties, court hall and status. Use Copy link to save the exact view and return to it later.
My Cases Today
When you're signed in, the My Cases Today tab highlights every matter you already track that appears on today's board for the selected court — so you can immediately see which of your cases are up, and where. Cases you follow are also flagged directly on the Live Board and in advocate results.
Adding a case to your cases
When you open a case from the board or from advocate results and it isn't one of your cases yet, the case's status sheet shows an Add to your cases card. Tap Add to your cases and Gaveli pulls the full record and starts tracking it as a High Court case — from then on you'll get automatic status updates and hearing reminders, and it will show as yours on cause lists. The card then turns into a View case link so you can jump straight to it.
If the case is already in your cases, you'll see a View case link instead of the add button.
If there isn't quite enough detail to add it automatically, you can add it from the Add Case page instead.
Sharing the board
The live board and advocate search are also available on a free, public page that anyone can open without signing in — handy for sharing a courtroom's status with a client or colleague. Signed-in members get the same board inside Gaveli, with their tracked cases highlighted.
Good to know
Board data is drawn from the court's own records and refreshed through court hours. Gaveli is an independent service and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any court. If a hall's status hasn't appeared yet, check back once the court is in session.
