How Gaveli keeps your data secure

Encryption, strict separation between firms, and India data residency — in plain terms.

Your firm's data is sensitive, and protecting it is central to how Gaveli is built. Here's a plain-language summary of how we keep it safe.

Strict separation between firms

Every firm's data is isolated. Members of one firm can never see another firm's cases, documents, or clients. Access within your firm is governed by each person's role.

Encryption

Your data is protected with encryption in transit and at rest, and documents are stored securely with access granted only through time-limited, authorized links.

The Client Portal is sealed off

Clients only ever see their own matters and only the information you choose to share. Internal notes and other cases are never exposed, and client access is fully audited.

Privacy by design

Gaveli is built to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, with self-service data export, deletion, consent management, and configurable retention. See Your data rights under DPDPA 2023.
