Uploading and managing documents

Add files to a case, organize them, and download them.

Keep every file for a matter in one place by attaching documents to the case — pleadings, evidence, correspondence, and more.

Upload a document

  1. Open the case and go to the Documents tab.

  2. Choose to upload and select the file from your device.

  3. The document is attached to the case and available to your team.

Finding and downloading

All your firm's documents are also gathered under the main Documents section, so you can browse across cases. Select any document to download it.

Sharing with clients

If you use the Client Portal, you can choose whether each document is visible to the client or hidden. See Controlling what clients can see.

Storage

Your plan includes document storage. If you're running low, an admin can review usage on the billing page or upgrade for more room.
